Nate's Hoof Care

Nate’s Hoof Care
Helping farmers keep their cattle healthy since 2003.

I’ve been trimming and treating cattle hooves for farmers around central Minnesota and the surrounding area for over 20 years. Good and healthy hooves mean better, more comfortable cows and I’m here to make sure your cows stay that way. I bring my hoof trimming chute right to your farm so the work is safe, efficient and less stressful for your cows. Whether it’s regular trimming or fixing a hoof problem, I’ll make sure your cows are taken care of and get the most adequate treatment.

Our Story

Nate’s Hoof Care has been helping farmers since 2003. I was raised on a farm and grew up working with livestock with my entire family. Two of my brothers are still working on the family dairy farm. One of my brothers owns Ackerman Hoof Care. I worked with him for a few years learning how to trim and treat hooves the correct way. My brother was too busy and encouraged me to start my own business hoof trimming. Knowing that I would continue to work with livestock on farms along with creating my own schedule, sounded like a dream. I really enjoy working with cattle and since two of my brothers already took over the family dairy farm, I knew this would be a good fit. Running my own hoof care business lets me use my skills, work with animals I love and have more control in my schedule.

Over the years, I’ve learned how to trim and treat hooves safely and quickly in the right way. I bring my own chute to every farm so the cows are calm and steady so the work is done efficiently.

I’m proud to help farmers in Rice, MN and nearby areas. My goal is simple: healthy hooves = less stress for the farmers and the cows.
